Longhorns give back

There are no days off during the season for the women's basketball, but during the holiday season, there is always time to give back to the community. On Tuesday morning members of the Texas Women's Basketball Team shared some laughs and a helping hand to kids from an Austin area school district. Operation School Bell provides clothing and other items such a shampoo, toothbrushes, and combs to children from age three up to teenagers in high school. O.S.B has been helping the Austin community for 32 years, and has helped over 80,000 children in need. For many of the UT athletes, it was their first time at the Assistance League, but the reward of helping the children pick out clothing, was reason enough to want to do it again. Giving back to the community that supports them each and every season is what it's all about.
