Wreath laid at national cemetery in remembrance of Texas high school shooting victims
Survivors of the Texas school shooting near Houston last month visited Arlington National Cemetery to participate in a wreath laying ceremony.
Ten people were killed during the mass shooting at Santa Fe High School on May 18.
U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz also participated in the ceremony.
"I just hope that they know that this community is hurt. We are praying for them, they are getting better, I hope that they keep every one of them in their prayers and in their memories. I pray that the community gets back to where they were. I know we will be better and strong because of this," said Devin Belluomini, a U.S. Air Force Airman and graduate from Santa Fe High School.
A 17-year-old student who authorities say was the gunman is being held on charges of capital murder and aggravated assault of a public servant.
