Motorcyclist facing charges after photo shows him riding with toddler
A biker in the Houston-area could face child endangerment charges for riding a motorcycle with a toddler.
Police arrested him on Tuesday, after a picture of them caused outrage on social media.
The man who took the picture was at a gas station when he saw the toddler straddling the high performance motorcycle.
"I'm not looking to get the guy thrown in jail but he needs to get the hint the child's life is in danger," said the unidentified man who took the picture.
"It's just a very ill thought out decision to put a child in that position. If the motorcycle went down the child is a goner," said Captain Ken Defoor with the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.
It's illegal in Texas for a child younger than 5 to be a passenger on a motorcycle.
