Poll: Hillary Clinton has 2-point lead over Donald Trump
A new national poll from CBS News and The New York Times shows Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with just a 2-point lead over Donald Trump.
With the first debate less than two weeks away, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are in a tight race for the presidency nationally. Clinton (46%) has just a 2-point edge over Trump (44%) in a two-way match-up among likely voters.
The race is tied (42%-42%) when third party candidates are included.
The report also says one disadvantage for Clinton is the decline of voter enthusiasm as democrats are less enthusiastic about voting now than they were in August.
Also, the poll showed more than four in 10 voters think each candidate should release more of their medical records.
