US Marshals searching for fugitive accused of indecency with a child in Austin
A man is on the run after being accused of touching a young girl inappropriately multiple times. Last September, Austin Police charged Noe Alvarez-Loredo, 55, with indecency with a child.
"His wife was providing child care at their house and there was a victim who did an outcry who said that Mr. Loredo touched her inappropriately," said Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal Darren Sartin.
A warrant was issued for his arrest in October, but Alvarez-Loredo hasn't been seen since. U.S. Marshals said he's undocumented and could have aliases.
"He's got one prior offense which was not a violent crime, but we don't know if he's using his real name or using other names. We don't know too much about him," said Sartin.
That daycare was run out of a home at 1019 W. Rundberg Ln.
"We don't know if there's other victims, but we need to find him soon so he doesn't have a chance to do this to anybody else," said Sartin.
U.S. Marshals believe family or friends may be helping Alvarez-Loredo, and they haven't been cooperating with police.
"We need the public's help to try to see if they recognize him and give us some information to run on," said Sartin.
They want him behind bars so the victim and the victim's family can finally get justice.
"As a parent, that's your worst nightmare is for you to drop your kids at a daycare and something happens to them while they're away from you. That's just a horrible crime," said Sartin.
Noe Alvarez-Loredo is 5'8 and weighs 170 pounds. If you have any information on his whereabouts call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 512-800-4213.
