Police searching for Austin man who confessed to sexually assaulting daughter
The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is looking for a man who confessed to sexually assaulting his own 5-year-old daughter.
Back in 2009, officers said Daniel Pulido,33, sexually assaulted the little girl in his apartment. The child described to interviewers what had happened and Austin Police said Pulido initially denied the accusation -- then later confessed.
"The family member comes home and sees this 5-year-old child doing something that's out of the norm, and that's what kind of alerted this parents to inquire, 'Where did you learn this behavior, where did it come from?' She said, 'My dad'," said U.S. Deputy Marshal Brandon Filla.
Pulido had a warrant out for his arrest, but disappeared. Officers said he has family members in several states, and also believe he could have fled to Mexico. If you have any information about Daniel Pulido, call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 512-800-4213.
