Williamson County man accused of pointing rifle at DPS helicopter

On Sunday evening, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office was called to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety after a man allegedly pointed a rifle at a DPS helicopter.

The suspect, 39-year-old Clint Noe, is accused of pointing the weapon at the chopper while it was flying over a home in Thorndale, Texas.

Noe was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked in the Williamson County Jail.

“You point a deadly weapon to any law enforcement entity in Williamson County, our deputies will find you and arrest you,” said WilCo Sheriff Robert Chody after Noe's arrest.
