The victim in a deadly crash involving a moped and a privately-owned school bus on Monday evening has been identified by her sorority.

The University of Texas Chi Omega sorority says the victim's name is Nancy-Jane David, who was a junior at UT.

The sorority will be holding a candlelight vigil for David on Wednesday.

Investigators say the David was traveling north near the 4000 block of Manor Road when she had some sort of difficulty with the moped and was struck by a bus traveling in the same direction behind her.

The driver of the bus stayed at the scene. There were no passengers in the bus.
