Teen girl dies in Taylor hit and run collision
TAYLOR, Texas —
A teen girl died after being struck by a truck in Taylor, Texas Saturday night.
Taylor Police received the call of the crash at approximately 9 p.m. at the 1000 block of Old Thorndale Road, in the northeast side of town.
Preliminary findings show that two teens were walking westbound along the side of the road when they believe a dark colored Ford F-150 truck struck them. They vehicle did not stop and continued along Old Thorndale Road.
One of the teen girls died on scene, the other was transported to Scott & White Hospital in Taylor with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Department and Georgetown Police Department Crime Scene Unit are assisting Taylor Police’s ongoing investigation.

This is Taylor’s first fatal collision of the year.
