Rodney Reed hearing challenges time of death and sexual assault claims
A convicted murderer's fight for a new trial continued late into the afternoon on Thursday as defense attorneys tried to poke holes in the murder timeline.
Rodney Reed was found guilty of killing 19-year-old Stacey Stites in 1996.
Two of Reed's original attorneys took the stand to answer questions about the series of events leading up to Stites' death.
Among the things in contention -- Stites' time of death, and whether two witnesses in a 2006 hearing in Reed's case were credible.
There are only two remaining witnesses who will take the stand Friday morning.
