A man in Pflugerville is accused of exposing himself to a young girl after giving her money while her parents were away at the store.

According to an affidavit, a man and his wife were at the store when they received a call from their neighbor, 31-year-old Erick Jose Rapalo, saying he was in front of their home because they were going to have a barbecue.

The man informed Rapalo they would be home soon, and Rapalo went into the backyard of their home to wait.

Police say the couple's 12-year-old daughter was home, and was playing with a dog in the backyard.

Court documents say Rapalo gave the girl $30 while pulling down his jeans, exposing his genitals. Police say Rapalo asked the girl to touch his penis, grabbing her hand and pulling it toward him.

The girl struggled, police say, so contact was not made.

When the couple returned home, the girl was visibly upset. She told her father what happened, and he called 911.

Rapalo was arrested and charged with indecency with a child, a 3rd degree felony.

$30 was recovered from the victim.
