Police identify man killed in fiery crash on Mopac in S. Austin
AUSTIN, Texas —
Austin Police have identified a man killed in a crash in South Austin last Sunday.
According to APD, a silver Toyota 4Runner was traveling southbound on the frontage road of the 3600 block of Mopac around 5:00 a.m. when it left the roadway.
The 4Runner continued on through the grass median before hitting several trees, stopping the vehicle.
It then caught fire, killing the driver, identified as 42-year-old Charles Kagai.
Kagai was the only person in the vehicle.
