Police ID woman killed in NE Austin crash
The Austin police Department have identified a woman killed in a crash that occurred on Tuesday, January 30.
According to the authorities, after a preliminary investigation, a gray, 2000 Lexus stopped for unknown reasons on 1650 E. Anderson Lane with no vehicle lights illuminated.
Police say that 28-year-old Alma Rosa Hernandez-Jaimes was seen standing on the passenger side of her vehicle near the opened passenger door.
According to the authorities, a red, 2013 Nissan Altima struck the Lexus, which forced the driver of the Lexus into the stopped vehicle.
APD say the victim succumbed to her injuries on Thursday, February 1.
