Shooting in E. Austin started as a robbery, suspect on the loose
AUSTIN, Texas —
Austin-Travis County EMS and the Austin Police Department are responding to a shooting in east Austin.
It happened in at E. 2nd Street and N. Pleasant Valley Road around 10:40 a.m.
EMS says a man in his 60s was taken to the hospital.
APD says it started out as a robbery. The victim was sitting at the bus stop.
According to APD, the suspect left the scene in a car.
