One injured in downtown Austin shooting; two suspects in custody
AUSTIN, Texas-- Austin police are investigating an overnight shooting that left one man injured.
APD says as police monitored HALO cameras, at around 2:23 a.m., they noticed a suspect pointing a gun at someone and firing it.
Officers quickly responded to the area, which was at the intersection of E 7th Street and Trinity Street.
After officials arrived on scene, APD says they were able to arrest the suspect with a gun, as well as a suspect that was with him.
Austin Police say there was a gunshot victim that was transported by friends to Dell Seton Medical Center.
Police say the scene is clear and the incident is under investigation.
Officers have not stated what charges the two suspects will face.
