Man hospitalized after N Austin motorcycle crash
AUSTIN, Texas —
One person was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after being involved in a collision between a motorcycle and a car in north Austin.
Austin-Travis County EMS reports that the collision occurred near the intersection of Burnet Road and West Anderson Lane close to 2 p.m.
Medics transported a male in his 20s to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.
Police on scene told CBS Austin that the motorcycle rider flew over the handlebars during the collision and suffered a broken leg and possibly a broken back.
Authorities cleared the roadway in approximately 30 minutes.
