Man jumps from cliff into Colorado River, suffers blunt force trauma
AUSTIN, Texas —
Austin-Travis EMS responded to a call of a person falling 20 to 30 feet off a cliff into the Colorado River.
Medics responded at the call at 5:54 p.m. at 105 Yacht Club Cove. The patient was transported by boat to the marina.
ATCEMS confirms to CBS Austin the patient jumped from a cliff into the water and struck the water flat, resulting in blunt-force trauma.
STAR Flight transported a man in his 20’s to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
