Bee Cave Police searching for bank robbery suspect

Police in the west Travis County community of Bee Cave are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say robbed a bank Thursday afternoon.

It happened at approximately 2:10 p.m. at the Compass Bank located in the 12500 block of Bee Caves Road. Investigators say the suspect entered the store and presented the clerk with a note demanding money.

The suspect is described as 5’ 8” to 5’10”, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt with long sleeves, blue jeans, and a baseball cap with a dark blue front with a mesh back.

Police say he fled the scene in a new model Infinity, possibly a sedan, brown in color.
