Two men stabbed in South Austin, police searching for suspect

Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed two men in South Austin Friday afternoon -- with one of them suffering critical injuries. (CBS Austin)

Police are searching for a suspect who stabbed two men in South Austin Friday afternoon -- with one of them suffering critical injuries.

It happened at approximately 1 p.m. in the 4400 block of Pack Saddle Pass, just east of the South Lamar and Ben White Boulevard intersection.

Officials with Austin-Travis County EMS say two men were transported to South Austin Medical Center, one with serious injuries, the other critical.

Austin Police say the victims and the suspect know each other, and this started as a disagreement outside of a business. Officers have identified the suspect, but that person is not in custody yet. Police say there is no threat to the public.
