APD searching for North Austin bank robbery suspect

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man who robbed a North Austin bank Wednesday evening.

It happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. at the Wells Fargo located near the intersection of East Braker Lane and I-35.

Austin Police investigators say the suspect walked in and presented a note demanding money. He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white male, 40 to 50 years of age, 5'8" - 5'10", with a thin build and a beard. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, gray hat, blue jeans, black shoes, and glasses.
