13-year-old Beth: No room in her life for negativity, but plenty for animals
Dreams help foster children stay positive while waiting to be adopted. 13-year-old Beth says she has no room in her life for negativity, but plenty of room for animals. Her future family will need to love them too. CBS Austin met Beth at the Austin Zoo where she loved spending the day with the rescued animals.
"I want to be a veterinarian," said Beth.
She's already eyeing TCU or Baylor to attend college. The good student also has a good sense of humor when we asked what her favorite food is?
"Hot wings. Like chicken wings," said Beth with a chicken sitting next to her.
"She's always a happy, bubbly girl. Every time I see her no matter what's going on, "said Susan Jensen, Beth's adoption caseworker.
Jensen says positive, patient parents will help Beth thrive.
"Parents who will help her achieve her goals. That there's a whole lot out there it doesn't matter what's going on now, you can always look forward."
