'Austin After Hours' premieres August 5th!
We're excited to announce the launch of a new local entertainment show “Austin After Hours,” hosted by Taylor Ellison.
“Austin After Hours” will premiere Saturday, August 5th on CBS Austin at 10:35pm, immediately following the “CBS Austin News at 10.” This half hour program will air the first Saturday of the month. “Austin After Hours” will feature compelling stories about the people and places that shape Austin’s unique culture.
In making the announcement, Amy Villarreal said, “'Austin After Hours' gives us the opportunity to highlight Austin in a format that is unique as our city.”
“The only thing I love more than living in Austin is getting to share the joy of this city with others,” comments Taylor Ellison. “I look forward to sharing these uniquely Austin stories in hopes that they my uplift and inspire audiences everywhere.”
The first episode will feature Phil Rosenthal, an American television writer and producer best known as the creator, writer and executive producer of the hit sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond.”; Keith Kreeger, a local ceramic artist well known for his unique designs and dishware found in Austin’s most beloved restaurants; and Jackie Venson, a soul pop guitarist on the rise.
Taylor Ellison is a born and raised Austinite, attended the University of Texas at Austin and currently cohosts the local lifestyle show, “We Are Austin.” Which airs weekdays at 9am on CBS Austin. While working on “Austin After Hours” she will continue to host “We Are Austin.”
